Brian Landherr & Family, MN

Brian Landherr and his family are leaders in wildlife conservation. They operate about 200 tillable acres in Mower County. They have provided, maintained, and enhanced a beautiful stretch of wildlife habitat along Rose Creek. The land is home to turkeys, pheasants, ducks, and otters.

The Landherr’s have maintained over 100 acres of woods and riparian area with trails. They have also planted over 1300 trees on their property. They have enrolled 23 acres in a permanent Reinvest in Minnesota (RIM) program, have nearly 20 acres in the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) and have created wetlands and ponds. Brian has also maintained food plots for the animals during winter months.

Brian is an active member of both Pheasants Forever and the National Wild Turkey Federation.

The Landherr family enjoys the outdoors either riding trails, looking for frogs and crayfish or fishing in the ponds.

Please join the Mower SWCD in applauding the Landherrs, leaders in wildlife conservation!!!
